- Basmati Rice – 200 grams
- Green peas – 50 grams
- Coconut – ½
- Cinnamon – 2 small pieces
- Fennel seed – 1 teaspoon
- Cloves, cardamom – 3
- Brinji Leaves – 2
- Cumin seed – 1 teaspoon
- Garlic – 6 pieces
- Ginger – as required
- Onion – 1
- Green chilli – 3
- Ghee – as required
- Tomato – 1
- Salt – as required
Instructions
- Wash Basmati rice two times.
- Cut the coconut as small pieces and grind it without adding more water to take milk.
- Dip the rice in coconut milk for some time.
- Chop 3 garlic and onion.
- Suppress one garlic with ginger.
- Heat the ghee then put cinnamon, fennel seed, cloves, cardamom, Brinji leaves, suppressed ginger and garlic, chopped onion, garlic, green chilli and roast it well.
- After some time add chopped tomato’s and green peas with it and stir.
- Now take this mixture along with rice in cooker and boil. After boil it is ready to serve.
