Brinji Rice Recipe Preparation Method

Brinji Rice


Basmati Rice                                       – 200 grams

Coconut                                               – ½

Cinnamon                                           – 2 small pieces

Fennel seed                                       – 1 teaspoon

Cloves, cardamom                           – 3

Brinji leaves                                        – 2

Cumin seeds                                      – 1 teaspoon

Garlic                                                     – 6 pieces

Ginger                                                  – as required

Onion                                                    – 1

Green chilli                                         – 3

Ghee                                                     – as required

Tomato                                                                – 1

Salt                                                         – as required


Wash Basmati Rice two times. Cut coconut as small pieces and grind it without adding more water to take milk. Take two times of coconut milk for one time rice and dip rice in coconut milk for some time. Chop 3 garlic and onion. Suppress one garlic with ginger. Heat the ghee then put cinnamon, fennel seed, cloves, cardamom, Brinji leaves, suppressed ginger and garlic, chopped onion, garlic, green chilli and roast it well. After some time add chopped tomato’s with it and stir. Now take this mixture along with rice in cooker and boil. After boil it is ready to serve.
