For this recipe, we will be infusing catsear to our lemonade. Catsear is an herb whose flowers and leaves can be consumed. It is very healthy, containing high amounts of antioxidants. Catsear has a slightly bitter flavor that balances out the sweet and sour flavor of the lemonade.
-1 whole lemon, slice
-1 cup lemon freshly squeezed lemon juice
-2 tablespoons sugar
-1 liter cold water
-1 cup catsear flowers
Place the sliced lemons in an airtight jar. Shred the catsear flowers, completely separating all leaves and stems. Place them in the jar together with thesliced lemons. Completely submerge the all the ingredients in water and seal the jar.Leaveit overnight inside the chiller. When ready to be consumed, add freshly squeezed lemon juice and add sugar. Serve the lemonade in a tall glass with ice.
