Tomato rice Recipe Preparation Method

Tomato rice can be prepared in different methods, here is one method on how to prepare a delicious tomato rice with spicy indian masala.

Ingredients:

  • Rice                                                    – 2 cup
  • Tomato                                                – 4
  • Onion                                                  – 2
  • Green chilli                                         – 4
  • Curry leaves                                       – as required
  • Mustard seeds, black gram                  – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon                                           – 1
  • Fennel seed                                       – 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves                                                 – 3
  • Ginger                                               – small piece
  • Garlic                                                – 5 pieces
  • Mint                                                   – as required
  • Cilantro                                             – as required
  • Garam masala                                   – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder                                – 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seed                                       – 1 teaspoon
  • Ghee                                                – as required
  • Chilli powder                                     – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil and salt                                        – as required

Procedure:

  •  Clean the tomatos, and boil it for 5 minutes, then the outer skin of the tomato will be easy to remove, after removing the outer skin grind it to get the juice.
  • Chop the green chilli and onion as small pieces.
  • Heat the oil then add mustard seeds, black gram, curry leaves, cinnamon, fennel seeds, cloves, cumin seeds one by one and roast it.
  • After that add chopped onion, green chilli, suppressed ginger, garlic, mint and roast again.
  • Then add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and mix it well.
